The championships included teams from Haverhill Country Club, Russell Mill Club, Andover/North Andover YMCA, Cedardale and BSC. For the past several years, Bradford Swim Club and Cedardale have battled to the end and taken turns grasping the title. This year was no different, but the Bradford Swim Club came out ahead by a mere 17 points to regain the title. Coach Becky Driscoll led the BSC Diving Team to victory earlier in the week. Becky had a great performance from Michaela Sliney and Joe Giampa. Coaches Anna Carbone and Jessica Doe trained the youngest swimmers (ages 6 and under) to a strong showing at their competition. Head Coach Meghan Kennedy and her strong coaching staff held off the depth of the larger Cedardale team. It was a great ending to an undefeated dual meet season. Many of the BSC swimmers also competed in the Michael J. Horgan Championship meet, which took place the weekend prior. This is BSC's 48th year in operation, and they continue their tradition of producing talented young swimmers in our community. 9/1/13
