College finance meeting planned: Northern Essex Community College will host a FAFSA Day Massachusetts on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. in the John R. Dimitry Building, 45 Franklin Street, Lawrence.

Counselors will guide participants through the process of completing and filing a FAFSA application form online. Spanish translators will be available. NECC is one of more than two dozen locations throughout the state that will host FAFSA filing events.

Prescription Advantage presentation on tap: Kathy Devine of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs in Massachusetts will discuss the Massachusetts Prescription Advantage Program on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m., at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St.

Prescription Advantage is a prescription drug insurance plan available to Massachusetts residents 65 and older, as well as younger people with disabilities who meet income and employment guidelines. More information is available from Kathy Bresnahan or Rita LaBella at 978-374-2390.

Haverhill Senior Baseball registration: Haverhill Senior Baseball is accepting applications for the 2014 season.

Sign-ups will be held at the public library on March 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Applications are also available online at haverhillseniorbaseball.com and can be mailed to PO Box 5202, Bradford, MA 01835.

The spring season will run from mid-April through the end of May and the summer season is from early June through early August.
