Local journalist Tom Vartabedian will offer a series of three workshops at the Citizens Center beginning on March 26 at 1 p.m.
The first presentation will detail his 50 years of journalism at The Haverhill Gazette. He will share some of his favorite stories and photographs, including images of life in Haverhill and the people who made it great.
Vartabedian will continue his series at the Citizens Center on April 16, when he will discuss the history of Armenia, and on May 21 when he will talk about his travels to some of America’s national parks.

Museum trip planned: The Council on Aging is planning a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for the annual “Art in Bloom” exhibit on April 28.

Health workshop planned: A Natural Options for Health and Wellness Workshop will be presented by Dr. Beth Greene of New Life Chiropractic in Central Plaza.
Greene will share tips and suggestions for keeping the spine healthy at all ages to minimize pain and maximize function. She focuses on the importance of being active, preventing and healing injury, as well as the role good nutrition plays in our lives.

Prescription program discussed: Kathy Devine of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs in Massachusetts will be at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St., on Feb. 25 at 10:30 a.m. to discuss the Massachusetts Prescription Advantage Program.
