Scavenger Hunt planned: A scavenger hunt to benefit the Buttonwoods Museum will be held on Nov. 11.

Participants are asked to meet on the lower level of the Merrimack Street parking deck at 5 p.m. The hunt begins at 6 p.m. Teams of four to eight people will be given clues to solve as they navigate their way around town. Sign up early to assure your team’s reservation. An extra point clue will be given to your team upon payment so the sooner you pay, the sooner you will receive your clue. Cost is $45 per person, or $40 if paid by Oct. 26.

Please make checks payable to the Buttonwoods Museum. Please bring payment to any EZ-Way Cleaners location or mail a check with the names of your team to: Peter Carbone, 48 Colby St., Bradford, MA 01835. Your final clue will bring you to a party with a cash bar and a catered buffet by Simply Perfect Catering, compliments of Pattie & Stephen Crimmin. More information is available from Peter Carbone at 508-320-7710 or peteracarbone@yahoo.com. The Buttonwoods Museum/Haverhill Historical Society is a nonprofit, privately supported organization charged with maintaining and displaying historical artifacts from Greater Haverhill. This event is a Silver Bullet Production.
