It’s an age-old game that has retained its popularity with many members of the community.
There are chances to play bingo twice a week at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St.
Super bingo is played every Monday at 1 p.m. Regular bingo games are Thursdays at 1 p.m.
Players are welcome to drop in for the fun.

Craft fair: The Council on Aging will host a craft fair on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The fair will be at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St. Handcrafted items will be sold by local senior citizens. For additional information, call the Council on Aging at 978-374-2390.
Flu clinics: Clinics will be held for senior citizens and uninsured people only from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 10 and 11 at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St.
Trip to Symphony rehearsal: The Council on Aging has tickets for the Oct. 17 10:30 a.m. rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
This is an opportunity to see new conductor Andris Nelsons. The program will include works of Wagner, Mozart and Brahms.
Cost is $40 for first-balcony center seats and transportation. Call 978-374-2390 to make reservations. Seating is limited.

Halloween dance planned: Get your dancing shoes ready and save the date.
The Council on Aging is planning a Halloween Dance for Oct. 31 at 12:30 p.m. Costumes will be optional, and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
