Armenian Church to hold Autumnfest: The Armenian Church at Hye Pointe will host its annual two-day Autumnfest on Nov. 8 from noon to 8 p.m. and Nov. 9 from noon to 7 p.m. in the church hall, 110 Main St.

Armenian specialties include baklava, cream and nut khaddeyif, choreg (sweet rolls), kufta, tourshi (Armenian pickles) and spinach pie. An Armenian cuisine table will offer many more specialties. Shish-kebab, losh-kebab, chicken-kebab and kheyma dinners will be served throughout both days. Gift baskets and other raffle items will be featured.

Pink Flamingos set to return: Haverhill High School’s Hockey Boosters are holding their fourth annual pink flamingo fundraiser now through Nov. 17.

You can purchase a single flamingo for $10 or a flock of flamingos to send to anyone within the city. If you purchase a flock of three or more you will be entered into a drawing to win $100. More information is available from Marlynmom@Comcast.net or Hockeybooster35@hotmail.com.
