NECC students to perform Shakespearean comedy

Library activities for children: The public library is offering a variety of activities for children during November, beginning with Crazy Math Games on Nov. 8 at 3:30 p.m. This activity is for ages 7 to 12 and involves playing with math, using dominoes, tangrams and dice. Registration is required.

A Dewey Decimal Scavenger Hunt for ages 7 to 12 is Nov. 19 at 3:30 p.m. Children will use the Dewey Decimal system to follow clues, solve a puzzle, and find any book they could ever need. Registration is required.

Make a Dream Catcher for Native American Heritage month is Nov. 23 at 10:30 a.m. Learn how to weave a dream catcher and what it means. This program is for ages 7 to 12. Registration is required.

Plymouth Thanksgiving will be Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m. Learn something about the history of Thanksgiving. Design paper dolls and create your own version of the first Thanksgiving. For ages 5 and up. Registration is required.

Throughout November, the Children’s Room will be collecting diaper donations for the Anchor of Hope Diaper Drive. Stop by to drop off new diapers in any size or brand.

Trips planned: A Best of Times trip to see “Liza and Judy Together Again” at Venus De Milo in Swansea is planned for Nov. 12.

Tickets are $79 per person and include lunch, tickets to the show and motor coach transportation.

An overnight trip to the White Mountain Hotel in North Conway, N.H. is planned for Nov. 21 and 22. This trip includes dining, holiday entertainment, special cocktail pricing and shopping at the Christmas Dove and Calef’s Country Store in Barrington, N.H. Cost is $230 per person, double occupancy. Diaper collection: Throughout November, the children’s room at the public library will be collecting diaper donations for the Haverhill-based nonprofit Anchor of Hope Diaper Drive.
