Youth groups have walk to prevent child abuse

Trips planned: The Council on Aging is planning a trip to Newport, R.I., to visit the Doris Duke Mansion on April 26.

Lunch is at the Atlantic Beach Club and a tour of the Thomas Tew Distillery is included. Cost is $92.

The Council on Aging and Bethany Communities are planning a trip to Foxwoods on April 22. Cost is $35 per person and includes deluxe motor coach transportation, full buffet lunch, and slot play. A trip to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for the annual Art in Bloom exhibition is April 28. Tickets are $55 each and include a private guided tour. A trip is planned to Mystic, Connecticut, aquarium and seaport on May 18 and includes deluxe motor coach transportation, admission to the aquarium and seaport, and a $10 gift card for lunch. Cost is $89. A trip to hear the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall for a Film Night conducted by John Williams is June 7. Cost is $94 per person and includes dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. Day and overnight trips planned: Bethany Community Services is planning a variety of day and overnight trips and tours this year.

They include a Caribbean Escape Reposition Cruise from Clearwater to Boston, April 25 to May 9. A trip to the Wildwood Crest and Cape May, New Jersey Shore, is June 3 to 6. A trip to Atlantic City, Philadelphia and New York City is Sept. 14 to 18. A trip to New York City with two nights on the Norwegian Gem is Nov. 7 to 9 and includes tickets to the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Show, visit to the 9-11 Memorial and a New York City tour. Day trips include Debbie Reynolds at Mohegan Sun on April 15, Disney on Ice at the DCU Center on April 23, the Tony Pace Show at White’s of Westport on May 15, North Shore Acappella at Luciano’s at Lake Pearl on May 20, and The Temptations live in concert at Venus De Milo on June 11.
