Road Race: The Haverhill YMCA and the YMCA of the North Shore will present the David Curley 5K Memorial Road Race "Be a Champion" July 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Stadium on Lincoln Avenue. Outdoor Concerts: The 2012 season of the Make Some Noise free summer music series continues Thursday, July 12, with a performance by Vic & Sticks, a family music show that encourages lessons such as recycling and sharing. The show starts at 6 p.m. Opening act is Randy Videyko. In case of rain, performances will be held at the Chit Chat Lounge, 103 Washington St. The Make Some Noise music series continues through Sept. 20 and is funded by a grant from the Haverhill Cultural Council.
