Spinners Tickets Available: The Recreation Department and Council on Aging have tickets available to the Lowell Spinners game on July 30 at 7 p.m. Grandparents will receive a complimentary hot dog and soda from the Spinners. New Life Church presents Hillstock: Hillstock, a celebration of praise and evangelistic music will be held at New Life Christian Church, 966 Main St,. and at GAR Park. July 13: Concert in GAR Park from 7 to 10 p.m. featuring various Christian bands and soloists. Bring blankets and lawn chairs. Featured artists include Driving Reign and soloists and musicians from NLC.

July 14: Concert in GAR Park from noon to 5 p.m. featuring Jonah Corneau, Diversion Drama Team, Joe Cantone Band, Jaca The Beat Maka and other NLC talent.

July 15: Worship service featuring the Boston Teen Challenge Men's Choir, 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. at 966 Main St.

The Bradford Common free outdoor summer music series continues Friday, July 20 with Elle Gallo and Dangerous Men. The show starts at 6 p.m. on Bradford Common with a warm-up by Peter Chase and Mike Blocker. The series continues with TJ Wheeler and the Smokers on July 27, Paul Prue and the Bradford Cats on Aug. 3, EJ Ouellette and Crazy Maggie on Aug. 10 and Lance Bryant and the Mike Cesati Quintet on Aug. 17. Ice Cream Social: A family fun ice cream social will be held on July 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverside Memorial Church. The event consists of face painting, basket raffles, baked goods/beverages , children's games, and ice cream. All proceeds go to Karen's Krew for the Making Strides against breast cancer walk held in Boston this October. The crew walks in loving memory of Karen Quadros.
