Teen Graphic Novel Book Club: The Library hosts a graphic novel, manga and comic book discussion on Wednesday July 11 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. For more information, contact Sam Sednek, 978-373-1586 x650.

Road Race: The Haverhill YMCA and the YMCA of the North Shore will present the David Curley 5K Memorial Road Race "Be a Champion" July 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Stadium on Lincoln Avenue. Registration fee is $10 in advance or on the day of the event. Free T-shirts to the first 225 to register. Registration is free for children ages 13 and under. Country Jam Band: Winnekenni Castle will present a free concert by the John Penny Band on Sunday, July 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. The John Penny Band is a six piece country band with lead guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums, rhythm guitar and fiddle. All six members sing lead and backup vocals. The band's repertoire consists of contemporary and traditional country music as well as 50s & 60s oldies and pop standards. Food and refreshments will be available including hot dogs, popcorn, lemonade and root beer floats.
