Trip to Gardner Museum: The Council on Aging is planning a trip to the newly renovated Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum May 17. Transportation is by motorcoach. The bus will depart at approximately 11:45 a.m. Cost is $45 and includes admission, a guided tour and transportation. Charity Golf Classic: Friends of the Giurado family of Bradford will hold its first Kaydence Giurado Golf Classic May 19 at the Bradford Country Club. Kady Giurado, 3, has extensive medical problems and organizers of the benefit say her future remains uncertain. Despite extensive medical intervention, the girl's condition remains undiagnosed. Registration fee of $125 includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, and a steak and chicken dinner following play. Organizers are also planning a silent auction and raffle. "We are so grateful for the support of friends, family and the community," said Joelly Helps, the event organizer. "The challenges Kady and her family deal with daily often seem overwhelming, but we gain so much strength knowing there are such caring and thoughtful people who hold us in their thoughts and prayers." YWCA Luncheon: The Haverhill YWCA is pleased to announce that the 23rd Annual Tribute to Women Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 23, at DiBurro's of Ward Hill from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Congresswoman Niki Tsongas of will be the honorary Chairperson and keynote speaker. Tickets to this event are available at the YWCA, 107 Winter Street, Haverhill, and are $40 per person. The social preview begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon program fro noon until 2 p.m. Tables of ten may be reserved.

Team Haverhill Auction: Team Haverhill's "Wizard of Oz" Auction Gala has a new addition to its list of items to bid on. The latest is a Polar Express weekend getaway donated by Pentucket Bank. This fun-filled family weekend includes two nights for a family of four in a two-room suite at the Bartlett Inn, located in New Hampshire's White Mountains. The package includes four, first-class tickets for the Polar Express Train, plus breakfast for the whole family both mornings. All taxes are included. Recreating the popular children's book and movie, trains depart from North Conway and Lincoln, N.H. The gala, which benefits the Essex Street Gateway Mural, is May 19 at the Roma Function Hall in Bradford. Tickets are $30 per person and a table of 10 is $250.
