Jillian Cardarelli will perform songs from her newest CD, "little BIG Sky," at Pub 97 in Groveland, beginning at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, and continuing throughout the afternoon.
Cardarelli, 17, a pop country singer from Haverhill, recorded the CD at the Rocking Horse Studio in Pittsfield, N.H., with producer Marty Walsh of Haverhill. Walsh, a professor at Berklee College of Music, is a former member of the band Supertramp.
The CD "little BIG Sky" features new original songs written by Don Campbell, Robin Ball and Susan Cattaneo. Cardarelli worked with Campbell to co-write "Lights of Graceland," one of the featured songs on the CD.
Free, live, outdoor performances by Cardarelli and her band will continue all afternoon.
She will celebrate with family, friends and fans at Pub 97 beginning at 4 p.m.
A percentage of all music proceeds on Wednesday will benefit St Jude's Children's Hospital.
