Register to vote: Feb. 15 is the last day one can register to vote or change party enrollment for the Presidential Primary election on March 6. The Haverhill City Clerk's office, located in City Hall at 4 Summer Street, will be open that day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to register voters. Anyone who is a citizen of the United States, a Massachusetts resident and over the age of 18 on or before election day is eligible to register. Those registering via mail-in registrations must have their forms postmarked no later than Feb. 15. For more information, call 978-374-2312 or visit ci.haverhill.ma.us.


Four Chaplains Service: The public is invited to the annual Four Chaplains Service on Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Groveland Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 4 King St., Groveland. This service is hosted by Groveland Post 248, the American Legion. This non-sectarian service commemorates the valiant actions of four Army Chaplains who during World War II gave their lives to save the lives of others. There will be memories, stories and prayers shared by veterans about actual events that historic night. A collation will follow the service.

Spaghetti Supper: Atkinson Congregational Church will hold its 32nd annual all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper Feb. 4 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Snow date is Feb. 11. This event is open to the public. Tickets, sold at the door only, are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for children. Admission is free for children under the age of 6. The meal will be prepared by the men of the church, which is located at 101 Main St., Atkinson, N.H.

Chocolate Sale: The Groveland Congregational Church will hold a Chocolate Festival on Feb. 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and will feature a chocolate buffet and fondue fountain. A take home treat will also be provided. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door and can be purched after serivces or at the church office. The church is located at 4 King St. For more information, call 978-372-3463.
