Book Chat Session: The public library will host a Book Chat session April 26 from 10 to 11 a.m. This is an informal monthly reader's advisory group where you can hear the latest fiction and non-fiction reviews and share what you are currently reading. Book Chats also feature author talk alerts, e-reader demonstrations and staff picks. More information is available from Jaclyn Payne at 978-373-1586, ext. 608.

Relay for Life Fundraiser: Pillars for Life and the 1971 Haverhill High School Relayers are hosting a fundraiser on April 28th from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Garibaldi Club. Tickets are $10 per person and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each. Prizes include gift baskets, gift certificates, artwork, home decor, games and more. For more information please call Nathan Webster at 978-204-4692.

Change of Location: For the next four months the Greater Haverhill Landlord's Guild will hold its monthly meetings at the Victor Emanuel Lodge, Sons of Italy, 124 Washington St. Meetings are, April 24, May 22 and June 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. Parking is behind the Tap Restaurant. Lunch Party: The Council on Aging will host a lunch party with music by George Whitehouse of A Goodtime DJs, April 25 at 12:30 p.m. at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St. Tickets are $7 per person and include lunch and entertainment. Reservations are required by contacting Kathy Bresnahan (ext. 11) or Rita LaBella (ext. 16) at 978-374-2390.

Wrestling Show: A pro wrestling benefit show in memory of Karen LaPierre who was killed by a drunk driver on Dec. 18, 2011, on her way to church the show is entitled "No Tolerance Think. Don't drink & Drive" at the Sacred Hearts School. Doors will open at approximately 6:30 on Saturday, April 28 with a pre-show and meet and greet with the wrestlers and the main show will begin at 7:00pm. All proceeds will go to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry and M.A.D.D. This is an all ages event and tickets are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for kids under 12. Tickets will be available at the door.
