25th annual Tribute to Women luncheon coming up

The YWCA Haverhill will hold its 25th annual Tribute to Women luncheon on May 28 at 11:30 a.m. at DiBurro’s function hall.

The event will feature keynote speaker the Rev. Liz Walker, an ordained minister, television journalist, documentary film producer and humanitarian.

Since 1990, YWCA Haverhill has been honoring the outstanding achievements of women, who live and work in Haverhill, its surrounding communities and southern New Hampshire. Nominations can be made by co-workers, employers, peers, churches, families and friends. All nominees are inducted into the YWCA Academy of Women. More than 275 women have been honored since 1990.

The Tribute to Women luncheon is the YWCA’s major fundraiser. Proceeds from sponsors, donors and ads in the program book help underwrite the growth and development of programs at the YWCA. Guest reservations are $50. For sponsorship, advertising and ticket information, contact Renee McGuire at 978-374-6121.

Here are activities and events going on around Haverhill:
