The Rev. Dennis Nason, former pastor of All Saints Church in Haverhill, has died.
Nason died Monday night at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
The only pastor the church has known since its creation nearly a dozen years ago, Nason was diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of cancer, and had taken a two-month leave of absence before submitting his resignation.
Nason resigned from his position at the church effective Oct. 1, writing a letter to the parish from his hospital bed at Anna Jaques Hospital, where he had been in the intensive care unit.
His funeral will be Saturday morning at 10 at All Saints Church, which will be followed by a meal in the church hall downstairs.
