A Hillie is becoming a Raven.
Haverhill's Molly Fitzgerald is signing a national letter of intent to commit to Franklin Pierce to play on the Ravens' women's soccer team.
Fitzgerald was named the Merrimack Valley Conference Division 2 MVP in 2010 after posting nine goals and four assists on the season. A four-year starter on the Hillies, the tri-captain tallied 30 goals. Additional honors include being named to the Eagle-Tribune All-Star team and to the Division 1 Eastern Massachusetts First Team.
Franklin Pierce, located in Rindge, N.H., is a NCAA Division II institution and competes in the Northeast 10 conference. The Ravens' women's soccer team went 14-6-1 in 2010, advanced to the conference championship game and went to the East Regionals of the NCAA tournament.
A brief ceremony will be held for Fitzgerald at Haverhill High School tomorrow, April 15, at 3 p.m.
