City business owner joins 123College.com
Warren Gerety, a downtown Haverhill business owner and principal of Coastal States Wealth Advisors, has become affiliated with 123College.com, Inc. of Deerfield, Fla.
Gerety, an experienced banker and financial planner, will assist parents of college-bound students in their college aid planning.

Free informational workshops will be held at various venues and educational institutions to provide valuable information to parents of sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school.

MBA secretary named MCLE trustee
Massachusetts Bar Association Secretary Marsha V. Kazarosian, of Haverhill, has joined MCLE's Board of Trustees.
Kazarosian is managing partner of Kazarosian Law Offices in Haverhill, where she concentrates in civil litigation, family law and discrimination.
Kazarosian was elected to join MCLE's Board at its annual meeting on Jan. 27. An energetic volunteer, she has served on more than 15 program faculties at MCLE during the past 15 years.
Secretary for the MBA's 2010-11 centennial year, which began on Sept. 1, Kazarosian is co-chair of the MBA's Education and Technology committees. She has served on 10 association committees and sections.
, including the Access to Justice, Civil Litigation, Family Law and Probate Law section councils. An MBA vice president from 2008 to 2009, Kazarosian has also served on the MBA's Executive Management Board, House of Delegates, Joint Bar Committee on Judicial Nominations, Nominating Committee and Gala Dinner Committee.
In addition, she is a Life Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. Kazarosian is also a past president of the Essex County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
An accomplished trial lawyer, she was named one of the top 10 lawyers in the state in 1999 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly after successfully suing the Haverhill Golf and Country Club for gender discrimination. Kazarosian also served a two-year term as one of 25 lawyers in the commonwealth appointed to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's Pro Bono Panel and a six-year term as a hearings committee officer for the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers. In 2005, Kazarosian debuted as the host of her own internet radio program on the Legal Talk Network, in which she discusses relevant legal issues.
She is a corporator of the Pentucket Five Cents Savings Bank, was a member of the Essex County 150th Anniversary Committee and served as a board member of the Northern Essex Community College Foundation.
Kazarosian received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1978 and went on to earn her law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1982. She is a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover.
