McKinnon heads Pentucket Financial Services

Kevin McKinnon, assistant vice president of Pentucket Bank and investment executive of Infinex Financial Group, will head Pentucket Financial Services headquartered in Pentucket Bank's Salem, N.H., office at 234 N. Broadway. McKinnon, a certified financial planner, brings over 10 years of investment experience.

TD Banknorth names assistant VP

Christine A. Fasano joined TD Banknorth in Haverhill as an assistant vice president in commercial real estate. In her role as a commercial loan officer, she is responsible for providing commercial real estate loans and lending services to a wide range of business clients in the region. Fasano has more than 15 years of experience in banking, commercial real estate appraisal and lending. She previously served as a commercial real estate portfolio manager at Citizens Bank. A Windham, N.H., resident, Fasano serves on the board of directors of Lamplighter Village in Windham. She received a master's degree in business from Northeastern University in 1999.

Women's luncheon

The annual Tribute to Women Luncheon is on Wednesday, May 28 at DiBurro's of Ward Hill. Rebuilding Together fundraiser

Rebuilding Together and Verizon are partners in a nationwide campaign to raise $1 million to support low-income homeowners. Verizon will donate $1 (up to $1 million) to Rebuilding Together for every new caller who uses 1-800-THE-INFO (1-800-843-4636) to inquire about a listed phone number between now and May 31. This toll-free service provides business phone numbers, addresses, local searches and more.

Chamber of Commerce news — Greater Haverhill

The Team Haverhill Mural Project received a $10,000 challenge grant from an anonymous foundation to help jump-start the 2008 goal to commission 12 to 18 murals depicting notable figures from Haverhill. Those who sponsor a mural for $1,500 will receive an invitation to the unveiling ceremony, a company name on a plaque next to the mural, a display of promotional business materials and recognition in a press release on the Team Haverhill Web site and newsletters. Post office military discount

A new flat-rate box from the U.S. Postal Service that is 50 percent larger can be delivered for $10.95 to an APO/FPO address. The price is $2 less than for a domestic destination. The new priority mail large flat-rate box (12-by-12-by-51/2-inch) is available in post offices nationwide, or customers can order them at www.usps.com/supplies or by calling 800-610-8734. Some new boxes are co-branded with a logo that says America Supports You, which is a Department of Defense program that connects citizens offering support to the military and their families.
