:Trip to White Mountain Hotel: The Council on Aging is hosting a trip to the White Mountain Hotel Nov. 21 and 22.
This trip includes fabulous food, entertainment, and shopping at the Christmas Dove and Calef’s in Barrington, N.H. Cost is $230 per person, double occupancy.
Trip to see treasure exhibit: The Council on Aging is planning a trip to the Peabody Essex Museum to see the “Faberge Revealed” exhibit on Aug. 21.
The name Faberge is synonymous with refined craftsmanship, jeweled luxury and the Russian imperial family. More than 230 treasures from the late 19th and early 20 centuries are featured. Call 978-374-2390, ext.11, for details.
Helping rescue workers enter homes: You can make entrance to your home convenient for fire and ambulance service with no damage to the house.

Golf instructions: A golf clinic has begun at Garrison Golf Course, 660 Hilldale Ave.
The clinic is held on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. There is also a ladies golf clinic on Mondays at 9 a.m. Contact Ted Murphy at Garrison Golf Course at 978-374-9380 with questions.
Garden Club seeks members: The Haverhill Garden Club is looking for new members.

Doo Wop musical performance: The Corvettes Doo Wop Revue will be held at Venus de Milo in Swansea on Sept. 5.
This performance is dedicated to preserving and performing the music of the 1950s Doo Wop era. Tickets are $59 per person and include transportation, luncheon and performance.
