It’s almost me to get on your dancing shoes and dress up like your favorite Halloween character.
The Council on Aging will have a Halloween dance on Oct. 31 at 12:30 p.m.
Costumes will be optional, and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
A Goodtime DJ George Whitehouse will provide music. The event will also feature a photo booth where people attending the dance can have their pictures taken in groups.

Craft fair planned: The Council on Aging will host its second annual craft fair Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Crafters must be 60 years or older and there is no table fee. All items must be handcrafted. Call 978-374-2390 to reserve a space.
Visit to Boston Symphony Orchestra: The BSO is offering visits to morning rehearsals, and the Council on Aging has tickets for the Oct. 17 rehearsal at 10:30 a.m.
This is an opportunity to meet new conductor Andris Nelsons. The program includes works of Wagner, Mozart and Brahms. Tickets are $40 for first-balcony center seats and transportation. Call 978-374-2390 to make reservations. Seating is limited.
