(Continued)

Rubber Duck Regatta announced: The Haverhill Rotary Club will hold its annual Rubber Duck Regatta on Sept. 7, when 10,000 rubber ducks will be dropped into the Merrimack River from the Comeau Bridge, a new location for this year’s duck drop.

One “lucky duck” will win $10,000, donated by Rockingham Toyota/Honda/Scion of Salem, N.H. This year’s Rotary Rubber Duck Regatta will be held in conjunction with the downtown River Ruckus, a festival presented by Team Haverhill that promises to bring in bigger crowds and feature even more activities than past River Ruckus events.

More information is available online at www.adoptaducktoday.com.

Where’s Quacky contest: The Haverhill Rotary Club is holding a “Where’s Quacky?” contest as part of its fifth-annual Haverhill Rotary Rubber Duck Regatta, to be held Sept. 7 in conjunction with Team Haverhill’s downtown River Ruckus festival.

From time to time, Rotary will post photos of Quacky in various locations around Haverhill on its Haverhill Rotary Rubber Duck Regatta Facebook page. The first person to accurately guess Quacky’s location will win a free duck adoption. The best way to participate is to “like” the page and then watch your Facebook timeline closely.
