Students use photography to critique schools

THE GOOD: Students at Consentino Middle School, from left, Kayla Adams, 11, Gilbert Polanco, 14, and Jenna Solimine, 13, photograph the greenhouse in their school for a projectin which kids take photos of things they would like to see improved upon, and things they would like to see expanded upon. The greenhouse is an example of something the students agreed was outstanding in their school, hoping the idea might be expanded upon.

Students exercise their brains on math walkway
Boy Scout Zach Brown created a "math walkway" for students at Whittier Middle School. The path features geometric shapes and their titles to help students remember what they are studying.
