Greater Haverhill chamber of commerce

Massachusetts Municipal Outlook breakfast on Friday, Jan. 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Haverhill Country Club. $25 for members, $35 for nonmembers.

This annual event brings together the leaders of local Massachusetts communities to discuss issues expected to arise in the coming year. Haverhill Mayor James Fiorentini, and town officials from Groveland, Merrimac, Georgetown and West Newbury attended last year's breakfast.

Business After Hours on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Latitudes Sports Clubs. $10 for members, $15 for non-members.

Business assistance: Service Corps of Retired Executives — SCORE — offers free, confidential help to individuals starting a business or already in business. Sessions are Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. Until the Chamber's home at 87 Winter St. is rehabilitated, sessions will be in the Chamber's temporary office in the Landmark Building, 80 Merrimack St., second floor. Season passes for business networking mixers are on sale for $179, a savings of $101. Attend 28 mixers, a great networking opportunity. Additional passes are $139 each.

The Annual Merrimack Valley Mayors and Town Managers breakfast will take place on Friday, Jan. 15 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Andover Country Club, 60 Canterbury St. The event includes a full breakfast buffet. The event will feature guest speaker Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray. Invited or confirmed speakers include Haverhill Mayor James Fiorentini, Andover Town Manager Buzz Stapczynski, Lawrence Mayor William Lantigua, Methuen Mayor William Manzi, North Andover Town Manager Mark H. Rees and Amesbury Mayor Donna Holaday.

Haverhill Gazette publisher Al Getler will be guest moderator.

Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers.
