Awards Breakfast: The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce will host its 22nd annual Business Awards Breakfast on Feb. 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Renaissance Golf Club, 377 Kenoza St., in Haverhill. The Membership Services Committee holds this event to recognize member businesses that have been active in the Chamber and the community throughout the year. The breakfast will honor the eleven businesses that received the "Business of the Month" awards for 2011. Tickets are $30 per person or $275 for a table of 10. New Moon Coffeehouse concert series: The New Moon Coffeehouse will host monthly concerts through May 21. The coffeehouse is located in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 16 Ashland St, Haverhill MA. Admission to the show is $20; $10 for those ages 18 and under. For more information check out newmooncoffeehouse.org.

Business assistance: Service Corps of Retired Executives offers free, confidential help to individuals starting a business or already in business. Sessions are Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce in the Landmark Building, 80 Merrimack St., second floor. Appointments can be booked by calling the Chamber at 978-373-5663.

Vegas Entertainment: The Haverhill Cultural Council will present Las Vegas entertainer Brian Evans in a benefit concert Feb. 10 (2012) at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Haverhill High School, 137 Monument St. A special VIP event begins at 6:15 p.m. All of the concert's net proceeds will be donated to Haverhill High School and Haverhill Cultural performing arts programs. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at HaverhillCulturalCouncil.com and in the mayor's office in city hall. Advance tickets are $25 or $15 for seniors and students.

10 Free Kick Cancer Celebration: The Ryan family invites the public to join in celebrating ten years on being cancer free with their annual charity fundraiser at The Little River Ale House, 27 Lafayette Square, on Feb. 23, 2012, from 6 p.m. until midnight. Expect food, raffles and a cash bar. Tickets to the event are $10 and all proceeds go towards The Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. To order tickets, email ryankickcancer@yahoo.com.
