Affordable housing lottery: Community Action Inc. is accepting applications for a lottery to give low- to moderate-income residents the opportunity to buy one of four new affordable condominiums for reduced sale prices ranging from $129,000 to $157,000. There are three one-bedroom units and one two-bedroom unit available in the new 37-unit Villa Condominiums at 11 Villa St., near the downtown. The market rate condominiums in this renovated building have sold for up to $219,000. The units will be sold to qualified first-time homebuyers who have incomes at 80 percent or below of the area median income. You do not have to be a Haverhill resident to apply. Maximum income allowances: $43,050 for a single person, $49,200 for a two-person household, $55,350 for three and $61,500 for four.
