Indoor flea market planned

The Ladies Philoptochos Society Elpis will hold an indoor flea market March 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St.

Items available for purchase include furniture, clothing, glassware, books, jewelry, knick-knacks, and other bargains. Greek pastry will be for sale along with refreshments.

Tables are available for rent and can be reserved by calling 978-374-8887 or 978-373-3311.

The Ladies Philoptochos Society Elpis is a nonprofit organization of the church. Proceeds from this event will support various charities.

Crafters sought for fair

Riverside Memorial Church, 278 Groveland St., will hold its fifth annual craft fair on April 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event organizers are seeking crafters to participate in this event. The fee is $35 for an 8-by-21/2 foot table, with chairs included. All proceeds support Riverside Memorial missions fund.

Cycle for Shelter Early Bird registration

Emmaus Inc. in Haverhill has announced that Early Bird registration for Cycle for Shelter 2014 is officially open, with a discounted rate of $25.

This year, Emmaus hopes to build upon the success of the 25th annual event that took place on July 28, 2013. Thanks to the efforts of participating cyclists, corporate sponsors and community volunteers last year, Emmaus raised more than $130,000 that will help more than 3,000 homeless adults and children rebuild their lives.

Early Bird Registration fee of $25 is available for a limited time. Enter a team and receive a $5 discount off the registration fee. Please use discount code “Team5.” This year’s Cycle for Shelter is presented by the Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union and International Cars Ltd.
