Mayhew graduates after setting four school records

Alex Mayhew was the last Haverhill student-athlete to compete this school year.

Mayhew concluded an incredible senior season at the 2013 New England Championship Meet held in Connecticut on Saturday. He finished in fourth place against the best in all of New England in the 200-meter dash.

Mayhew set four school records in his senior year, including the 55-meter dash (6.47), the long jump (22’1”), the 100-meter run (10.95) and 200-meter run (21.71).

Girls tennis team finishes season with 13-6 record

The girls tennis team closed out the season in the MIAA Division 1 North Sectional Semi-Finals last week.

After an impressive win over Methuen in the first playoff match, the Hillies dropped a 5-0 decision to Lincoln Sudbury. Haverhill finished the season with a 13-6 record.

130 senior student-athletes graduate

Congratulations to the class of 2013 and to the 130 senior student-athletes who graduated on Sunday.

We are proud of all that each of these students accomplished in both the classroom and in sports. Ten of the top 15 in the senior class rankings were student-athletes.

We appreciate their hard work and dedication over the past four years and for representing Haverhill in a positive manner.

Thank you and best of luck.
