Council on Aging announces seminars for April

Next Step Living, an outreach partner for Mass Save, will present an information session at the Citizen Center on Monday, April 2, at 10 a.m. This program will teach participants about no-cost, whole-house energy assessments, 100 percent sponsored air sealing and incentives for weatherization of homes. This is a free mini-workshop.

Compassionate Care Hospice will speak about holistic approaches to hospice care on Wednesday, April 11 at 9:30 a.m.. This event is open to seniors and their families.

Do you have too much month for the money you have? Pat Paradis of Elder Services will give a presentation on money management on Wednesday, April 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the Citizens Center. Participants will learn proven ways to help make money go further.

Jason Ebacher of the Essex County Sheriff's Department will present information on health care proxies and durable power of attorney at 10 on Monday, April 23.

A representative from New York Life will speak about protecting your assets on Wednesday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at the Citizens Center. Topics covered will include estate and Medicare planning, managing retirement income, wills and trusts and other topics.

All information sessions will be held at the Citizens Center at 10 Welcome St.
