Share your ideas on using city's riverfront land

You can help shape the future of Haverhill by offering your ideas at Team Haverhill's Possible Dreams 2012.

This year's theme, "Bridget to Bridge and Beyond," asks attendees to consider ways of using land along the Merrimack River between the Basiliere and Comeau Bridges on both the downtown and Bradford sides.

Points of discussion include: How to utilize new assets such as the downtown parking garage and the Bradford Rail Trail, establishing a coherent image to both sides of the river, and connecting the river space to the larger city.

As in past years, Possible Dreams will use the "World Café©" group discussion method to help let more voice be heard.

"We'll imagine what we can do together that no one stakeholder can do alone," wrote Team Haverhill Chairperson Alice Mann in a press release. "And look for ways to get it done!"

Possible Dreams 2012 will take place on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Technology Center at Northern Essex Community College, 100 Elliott St.

Seats can be reserved by emailing teamhaverhill.possibledreams@gmail.com. People are also welcome to drop in.
