A man who reported hearing a suspect smash his car windows chased the suspect down the street, police said.
The man, whose vehicle was parked at 118 Merrimack St., looked out a window when he heard his car windows smash and observed a suspect, police said. The victim then chased the suspect down Wall Street before losing sight of him, police said. This was the second time in a little over a week the victim's car has been broken into, police said.

A clear substance that appeared to be super glue was hardened into the locks, and it also appeared that some of the glue had leaked out and hardened onto the doorknob, police said.
