Haverhill Senior Baseball registration: Haverhill Senior Baseball will hold signups for anyone in the Haverhill area March 2, 9 and 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Haverhill YMCA, 81 Winter St. The league has two divisions — one for players age 13 and the other for players ages 14 to 15. All home games will be played on a regulation 90-foot diamond on the JV Field behind Trinity Stadium. Boston Gay Men’s Chorus to perform at UU Church: The Universalist Unitarian Church of Haverhill will host a performance by the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus March 2 at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. The church is 15 Kenoza Ave. in Monument Square. The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus is one of New England’s largest and most successful community-based choruses. Now in its 31st season, the choral group is celebrated for its outstanding musicianship, creative programming and groundbreaking community outreach. Under the leadership of Music Director Reuben Reynolds III, the BGMC sings a wide spectrum of classical and popular music and builds bridges to all people by providing a positive, affirming image of the gay and lesbian community. The UU Church of Haverhill embraces diversity with a generosity of spirit and is committed to being inclusive and welcoming of all people in every aspect of the church’s life, from worship and rites of passage to education, music and social justice programs. Senior citizens lunch program: Nutrition and Health, a senior lunch presentation with Primary Care Physician William Ingram, MD, is March 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. in Merrimack Valley Hospital’s first-floor auditorium. Ingram will talk about the importance of, and misconceptions about nutrition and health, as well as what is myth and truth in herbal medicine. Cost of $5 includes presentation and full lunch. Menu includes Irish soup, corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, coffee, tea and Irish dessert cake. Merrimack Valley Hospital is at 140 Lincoln Ave. Registration is required.
