Minor League Floor Hockey, Week 6

Stymies Pizza took the victory over Rice & Brouillard Electric by one goal. Sidney Vets scored the first goal for Rice & Brouillard Electric in the first period. Tito Delgado and Nathan Libby each scored a goal in the second period, securing the win for Stymies Pizza. Rice & Brouillard Electric left the game with a 3-3 record, and Stymies pizza walked away with a 2-4 record.

Arty’s Roast Beef blew out Javier’s Market by four goals. Shelby Eason and Nicholas Terrile scored two goals each for Arty’s Roast Beef. Jayden Santiago scored his first goal of the season for Javier’s Market. Javier’s Market remains in last place with a 0-6 record, and Arty’s Roast Beef remains in first place with a 5-0-1 record.

Fantini Bakery defeated American Resource Staffing 6-2. Brendyn Lynch scored four goals in the game and had three of them in the third period. Adriano Andrade and Damain Fry scored one goal each for American Resource Staffing. Fantini Bakery has a 4-1-1 record, and American Resource Staffing has a 3-3 record.

There was no JV Floor Hockey game on Martin Luther King Day.

Major League Floor Hockey, Week 7

Malcolm Insurance won its second consecutive game, beating Messinger Chiropractic by one goal. Kyle Barnes scored the only goal of the game for Malcolm Insurance in the second period. Messinger Chiropractic tried its best to tie the game, but Malcolm’s defense held up well. Both teams are tied for fifth place with records of 2 wins and 4 losses.

Twomey & Legare Contracting beat Dempsey Insurance to move into first place. Tyresse Gutierrez scored a goal in the second period for Dempsey Insurance to tie the game at 2-2. Both teams played hard in the third period, but Sam Powell scored the game winning goal with 25.6 seconds left. Twomey & Legare has a 5-2 record, and Dempsey was left with a 4-3 record.
