HAVERHILL — The city’s annual Veterans Day Parade is Nov. 11, a Sunday.
Organizers said they want to bring to the public’s attention that the event is on a Sunday, which is unusual. Because Veterans Day falls on that day, the parade will happen then too, they said. The parade will form at 10 a.m. in front of VFW Post 29 on Kenoza Avenue. The march will begin at 10:30 a.m. and proceed to Monument Square, and then down Main Street to the Global Peace Monument on Ginty Boulevard. There, services will be held. The event will end after the services.
A buffet luncheon will be held after the services at the American Legion Farm, 1314 Main St.
