Reunion planned: The Haverhill High School-Trade School Class of 1948 is planning its 65-year reunion May 15 at DiBurro’s function hall. :Exchange Club celebration is May 21: The Exchange Club of Haverhill will host its second annual Recognition Night May 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Maria’s Family Restaurant, 81 Essex St. The event will include the Ace and Youth Scholarship Award, which is presented to students for excellence in educational achievements and overcoming adversity; the Book of Golden Deeds, which honors a local community member who has gone above and beyond in volunteering and supporting his or her community without any recognition; and So Proudly We Hail, which recognizes one resident and one organization in Haverhill who proudly displays the American flag. The event will conclude with a recognition of the club’s major sponsors and supporters from the past year. Names of the award winners will be announced in April. Tickets are $20 per person and will include hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, presentations and award ceremonies. Tickets will be on sale in early April.
