NEW: Line-up for VFW Santa Parade
Here is the line-up for the VFW Santa Parade on Sunday, Nov. 23, The Pre-parade Division: Assembles at Cumberland and Kensington avenues and the Hunking Middle School parking lot behind Edmond Street. This division steps off at 12:55 p.m. Participants include Richard Beaudoin, organizer; fire engines from across the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire; Trinity ambulances and other emergency vehicles; antique and specialty cars; Lee Speedway race cars; and the King Midget Car.
First Division: The first division forms at the Bradford fire station and steps off at 1 p.m.
Marchers are Daniel Plourde Jr., organizer; the 44th annual VFW Santa Parade banner, carried by Haverhill High School ROTC; Haverhill High School ROTC color guard and unit; Lorraine Post 29 VFW color guard and Methuen Post 8349 color guard; parade Marshal-Commander Lyman Biggart, Lorraine Post 29 VFW; Haverhill Veterans Council car; AMVETS Post 147, color guard and officers; Greater Haverhill Korean Veterans Association; Hannah Dustin Chapter 20 Disabled American Veterans car; American Legion Post 4 Auxiliary car; Sons of American Legion marchers and car; Essex County Sheriff's Department color guard and bike patrol; Haverhill Police Department officers, motorcycles and bike patrol; Haverhill Fire Department; city, state and federal officials; and the Hallamore Clydesdales.
Second Division: Dave McLaughlin, organizer; Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce; Sons of Italy Drum & Bugle Corps, sponsored by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce; STARS Special Olympics float; Hunking Middle School cheerleaders; Haverhill Bank/Northeast Community Credit Union; Sarah's Place Adult Day Health van; Londonderry High School marching band, sponsored by VFW Post 29; Sassy Classy Red Hatters float; Haverhill YMCA float; Karla Pattavina's Dance Academy; Pentucket Bank/Candy Land Express float; Clan McPherson Pipes & Drums, sponsored by The Haverhill Gazette; Haverhill High School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions); Consentino School Honor Society; Dick Kaplan's Excellent Jazz Band; and CVS/pharmacy Hillview Montessori Community Partnership floats.
