Car dealership, Marine Reserves combine to collect Toys for Tots

To encourage customers to spread holiday cheer to the more than 16 million children living in poverty in the United States, the local Jaffarian Automotive Group participated in the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program this holiday season.

Jaffarian filled up Toyota Tacoma trucks with toys and collected toys for children.

On Dec. 15, the dealership celebrated the Toys for Tots campaign by hosting a special event where Marine Reserves representatives at the dealership encouraged visitors to donate new, unwrapped toys. Donated toys were distributed to children throughout the state.

As a way to thank the community for its generosity, Jaffarian provided a raffle ticket for each toy donated. Drawings were held at the end of the day. In addition, donors are eligible for 10 percent off of service and 20 percent off retail parts at the dealership.

Toys for Tots is part of Jaffarian’s ongoing commitment to give back to the community – from sponsoring athletic teams and clinics with professional athletes to helping keep high school students involved in high school athletics through its GAME ON program.
