Haverhill High Athletic Director Garin Veris is encouraging students, parents and other fans of the sports program to show their Hillie pride at Tuesday night's boys basketball game against Lawrence.
Hillie Pride Night begins at 7 p.m. in the Haverhill High gym.
The first 400 students through the door will receive a free gold "Hillie Pride" T-shirt, funded by the night's financial sponsor, Team Haverhill.
Veris spoke at the Team Haverhill Possible Dreams event on Monday night, Jan. 25, about his wish that the community would become more involved in and supportive of Haverhill High athletics.
This Hillie Pride night is the first of what Veris and Team Haverhill member Tim Jordan say they hope will be many opportunities for exhibiting Hillie Pride.
Jordan said fun half-time activities for students are planned.
