CITY COUNCIL PREVIEW: Ryan questions costs, savings of single-stream recycling
A single-stream curbside recycling program has been in place citywide for just over two weeks; already one councilor says it's time to talk about scrapping it.

A water main break has temporarily closed a South Main Street restaurant.

On Saturday morning, July 24, around 12:30 a.m., a water main connected to the city's fire suppression systems, including sprinklers and fire hydrants, burst underground and flooded the basement of Kelly's Restaurant. -
Merrimack River will light up to end River Ruckus
Folks who attend the downtown River Ruckus on Aug. 14 are going to be treated to the spectacle of the future today.
