They had plenty to smile about.
For the 18th consecutive year, orthodontist Dr. Joseph Cardarelli Jr. and his staff have recognized National Dental Health Month with an essay contest titled "How to Keep a Healthy Smile.''
The awards were presented to the winners at Dr. Cardarelli's office.
The winners are:
Grand prize — $500 bond, Grace Morgan, Bradford Elementary School
Second prize — $300 bond, Emma Elizabeth Eramo, Tilton School
Third prize — $200 bond, Alex Vega, St. Joseph's School
Honorable mention —
$100 bond, Devon Avandi, Hill View Montessori School
