Hunking School vandalized
A Hunking School custodian told police sometime over the weekend an unknown party used a blue paint marker to write on the school's exterior wall, police said.
The incident was reported at 8:26 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, police said.
Woman reports suspicious van
A woman told police that on Monday morning at about 8:30 a.m., a dark red Chrysler van drove into the dead end street she lived on - Nellie Avenue.
The woman said she was concerned because one of the children waiting for the bus with the adults stated that the van had been around the prior week, police said.
The woman said the children reported seeing a flash but were not sure if it was the sun or if the party in the van was taking a picture, police said.
The driver is described as a white male in his 40s, police said. The van is described as a work type with no writing on the side, police said. A license plate was not obtained, police said.
The woman was advised and will tell the neighbors to contact police if the van returns and to try and obtain a plate number, police said.
The incident was reported at 9:28 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, police said.
