Police log: Computer stolen from Haverhill High School

Computer stolen from classroom

A teacher at Haverhill High School told police an Apple laptop computer was stolen from her classroom sometime between 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, and 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, police said.

The teacher told police the computer belongs to the School Department and are in a wheeled storage cart in the classroom, which students have access to, police said.

An officer spoke with a student who was near the cart working at another computer on the day of the theft, police said. The student stated she didn't observe anyone near the cart, police said.

The incident was reported at 9:59 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, police said.

Bike stolen from school

A man told police that his son's bicycle was taken from Consentino Middle School, 685 Washington St., last Thursday sometime between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., police said.

The bicycle is a red boys' Mongoose, police said. It was not locked at the time it was taken, police said.

The man told police he will see if he can obtain the serial number of the bike, police said. The man reports there are no marks on the bike to identify it, police it.

The incident was reported at 3:33 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, police said.

Arrests

Sunday, Nov. 8

Robert Fitzgerald, 65, of 81 Winter St., was arrested at 5:10 p.m. at White and Nichols streets and charged with domestic assault and battery.

Ronald Durgin, 25, of 35 Ayer St., was arrested at 7:10 p.m. at his home on warrants charging him with larceny, breaking and entering, receiving stolen property, identity fraud, false pretense.

James Carozza, 48, of 45 Emily St., was arrested at 8:33 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).

Adele Gosselin, 40, of 402 River St., was arrested at 9:20 p.m. at 400 Lowell Ave. on a warrant charging her with operating a motor vehicle after suspension, speeding, seat belt violation.

Darin Sanford, 42, of 4 Worthen Place, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. at his home and charged with assault and battery on a household member.

Saturday, Nov. 7

Rocco Piccirilli III, 20, of 86 Sweet Hill Road, Plaistow, N.H., was arrested at 1 p.m. at 400 Lowell Ave. and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest.

Marcos Muniz, 23, of 354 Washington St., was arrested at 8:15 p.m. at 8 Emerson St. and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, revoked registration, uninsured motor vehicle.

Jacob Parker, 24, of 20 Weymouth St., Saco, Maine, was arrested at 11:54 p.m. at 1 Washington Ave. and charged with disorderly conduct.

Thursday, Nov. 5

Courtney Stroschine, 19, of 5 Marshall St., was arrested at 1 a.m. at 40 Bailey Boulevard and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property.

Dana Foust, 34, of 96 Central Ave., Salisbury, was arrested at 5 p.m. at 40 Bailey Boulevard and charged with unarmed robbery.

Angel Cruz, 51, of 11 Orchard St., was arrested at his home and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Frank Leatham, 44, of 4 Pilgrim Road, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. at 47 Broadway on a warrant charging him with failure to register as a sex offender.

Stephen Kuchinski, 49, of 4 Pilgrim Road, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. at his home on a warrant charging him with maintaining a noisy and disorderly house.

Steven Nelson, 41, of 90 Peaslee Crossing Road, Newton, N.H., was arrested at 95 1/2 High St. on a warrant charging him with larceny over $250.

Wednesday, Nov. 4

Opal Rojas, 33, of 134 Summer St., was arrested at 9:30 a.m. at 2 Water St. and charged with shop lifting (second offense), attempt to commit a crime.

Opal Rojas, 33, of 134 Summer St., was arrested at 12:45 p.m. at 40 Bailey Boulevard and charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle at night, larceny over $250.

Cheri Joaquin, 22, of 4 Ardmore Court, North Andover, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. at Winter and Locke streets and charged with violating a restraining order.
