Last week’s Memories photo showed the Haverhill Telephone Company building under construction at the corner of Winter and Portland streets in June 1947.

We received one correct answer, from Henri Seymour of Lawrence, who noted that the granite visible at right once led to the side entrance to the Freshman Annex building.

We also received some late correct answers to the previous week’s photo of Bradford Square — from Robert Takesian, Marion L. Mansur, Paula Cardran and Sherry Lentini.

Thanks to all who participated.

If you have a photo that is sure to bring back memories, please send it to us.
