Rubble becomes restaurant

Now that’s a facelift.

The old Radio Market at the edge of downtown has been resurrected from a pile of rubble to a restaurant, extending the trend of new eateries opening in the city center.

A snowstorm in 2011 caved in the roof of the old deli and market. It was later bought by the family of Samantha Petrou. They have turned it into Butch’s Uptown restaurant, which is open and drawing customers.
