The Haverhill High School fall sports seasons are in full swing this week, with all eight varsity programs starting their 2012 campaigns.
The girls soccer team has the busiest start, with back-to-back games to kick off their season. The Hillies travelled to Pentucket for a game on Tuesday afternoon before hosting Billerica on Wednesday night at Trinity Stadium.
Both the boys soccer and golf teams were in action on Wednesday when they travelled to Billerica. The boys soccer team plays its home opener on Friday night against Georgetown at Trinity Stadium.
The girls swim and volleyball teams start their seasons Friday on the road. The Hillie swimmers travel to Andover, while the volleyball squad goes to Dracut.
The boys and girls cross country teams start the 2012 season at the Newburyport Invitational at Maudslay State Park on Saturday morning.
The football team kicks off its season Saturday at Malden.
