About 150 colleges and universities from around the country will be participating in this year’s fair. This event, which is free and open to the public, will be co-hosted by the Greater Newburyport College Night Association, consisting of the school districts of Amesbury, Georgetown, Newburyport, Pentucket, and Triton Regional Schools.

Symposium on wound care planned: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Merrimack Valley Hospital and Steward Health Care’s second annual Symposium on Wound Care will be held on Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hartleb Technology Center on the Haverhill campus of Northern Essex Community College, 100 Elliott St.
Speakers and topics are: Walter Kwass, MD: Introduction and Overview of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy; Vera Cooke, DDS, MD: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Osteoradionecrosis; Tammy Dingman, CHT: Managing Risks and Complications of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy; and Micah Hemani, MD: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Management and Treatment of Radiation Induced Cystitis.
Cost of $25 includes breakfast beverages, lunch, and 3.5 continuing education credits for nurses and physicians. The event is open to the public. Deadline for registration is Oct. 11.
