Farmington, NH — Richard George Greenwood, 48, of Farmington, N.H., died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 14, 2013.
Rick was born on April 18, 1964, in Haverhill, Mass., to the late Richard Paul Greenwood and Carol Ann (Anderson) Greenwood of Raleigh, N.C. He was employed as an HVAC technician with Angelo Sassi and Son Plumbing and Heating of Farmington.
Rick was preceded in death by his wife, Tracy Jean (Paquette) Greenwood; his youngest son, Ryan Andrew Greenwood; and his father, Richard Paul Greenwood. He is sadly missed by his oldest son, Richard Paul Greenwood; his daughter, Aiesha Leigh Greenwood; and his granddaughter, Ava Jade Van Pelt. Also mourning his untimely passing is his mother, Carol (Anderson) Greenwood; and his three sisters and their spouses, Cassandra (Greenwood) and Sean Hogan, Danyelle (Greenwood) and Daniel Rousseau, and Kerri Greenwood and Timothy Jusczak. Rick also leaves behind his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Claire Paquette; and their children, Diane (Paquette) and William Gordon and Richard and Lisa Paquette; as well as several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and the many friends that were a part of his life.
Among life’s pleasures, what he enjoyed most were his and Tracy’s two dogs, Laci and Marli, family and friend gatherings, NASCAR, hockey, fishing, gardening, and the beach. The recent devastating loss of both his beloved wife and youngest son robbed him of the happiness he once found in these pleasures.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial mass will be held on May 4 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 71 Lowell St., Rochester, NH. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests contributions be made in Rick’s memory to the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
