Haverhill — Edwin Cassano passed away on November 12, 2013, after a period of declining health.
The youngest of 10 children, he was born on April 10, 1919, in Groveland to James and Anna (Wisnieuski) Cassano. He attended Haverhill schools and graduated from Haverhill High School in 1937.
Mr. Cassano is survived by his beloved daughter and caregiver, Beverly Cassano of Haverhill with whom he lived. He also leaves his nephew, Robert Cassano of Bedford, New Hampshire and his niece, Terri Brooks and her family of Georgetown.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marge A. (Marks) Cassano who died in 1991, and their sons, Darryle and Joseph in 1988. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Anthony, Joseph, Edmund, Catherine, Elizabeth, Albert, William, Ruth and Arthur.
ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral Service was held on Friday evening, November 15 at 6:00 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Calling hours preceded the Funeral Service on Friday from 4 to 6 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
