Harold Edward (Bud) Coffin, 79, of Everett, WA, passed away of natural causes at home on February 25, 2012.
He was born in Methuen, MA, on March 29, 1932, son of Harold Foster Coffin and Josephine McFadden. He was educated in the school system of Haverhill, MA.
He decided to go west, and eventually ended in Seattle, WA, where he worked in boat construction and cabinets and finally bought a door supply company in Everett, WA naming it BC Door Supply, which he operated for more than 40 years.
He very much enjoyed ballroom dancing, so good was he that at a reunion all other couples "cleared" the floor so that all could watch them. He also loved stock car races and go-kart races, and not least had a major interest in his family geneaology.
He was husband to the late Gloria Studdard Cox of Bothell, WA. He leaves 3 sons: David of Washington, Donald (wife Heidi) of Arizona, Danny of Everett, WA, and 4 grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Esther (husband Frank) Kreis of Prosser, WA, and Joan (widow of Gordon) Ladd of Haverhill, MA and two nieces: Nancy Sanders of Prosser, and Susanne Penny of Burlington, CO.
